Inspired by Youth For Human Rights and TED Prize 2011 winner (JR-Creator of the Inside Out Project), the Human Rights Generation is a project that deals with revising how the human rights declaration is followed by different European Countries.
This project is a follow-up of the youthforhumanwrights.org that was a youth online platform to post articles concerning art, human rights as well as a follow-up of Inside Out Project.
The Human Rights Generation Project consists of visiting 6 European countries (Slovakia, Poland, Latvia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Italy and Sweden) and creating an online video journal with young people’s opinion regarding different contemporary issues. The purpose of this initiative is not only to present to the young generation a clever and well adapted vision on topics such as art and human rights but also to raise awareness about what IS happening around the world and to facilitate access to information.
Human Rights Generation is sponsored by the Council of Europe via THE European Youth Foundation and integrates a Video Platform where videos from each visited country are available for viewing as well as a WordPress Blog.
